The Reasons NOT To Start Blogging

1. You have to do it all the time or you lose all effort.
2. You're life is busy anyway, dont add another thing.
3. You are taking a creative writing class and all your creative energy needs to go into that class
4. You run out of topics very fast
5. You usually forget about it after a week.

Okay, Excuse time over, now it's time to talk business.
Junior year has been pretty great thus far but holy crap there is already so much stuff!
Not only do I have homework, but I have to continue being obsessed with amazing musicals and actors, and I need to learn how to play some songs on the piano and keyboard.

So remember when I said Excuse time was over? Well, I lied. It had only began. I think it really is over now though.

Nothing real excited has happened yet except for auditions. I'm pretty excited about that. Monday morning is the moment of truth. I am scared. Either way I wont care but I still just want to know right now.

Well, I feel sick and I need to go be obsessed with stuff now.

Until next time,

I believe, All will be forgiven

The past two days have been amazing... except for ya know, saying bye to Caleb.

Spring Awakening!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was incredible, the lighting, the set, the acting, the singing, the stage door!
everything.
Zina and Ashton and Maria have the good pictures so I'm not putting any on here but I will, eventually.
The only thing i have to say and I will probably say it many more times is...
BEN MOSS :(((((
He wasn't play Ernst.. I made me so sad. But Stephie D made it tons better.

Chicago is a lovely place and yesterday was lovely but I kinda dont want to just sit and brag about it so I wont.

I hate mysterious people... anyone else? cuz I really do. More on that another day.

Today was church and then Aubrees Birthday Party where we had fun playing in the sand and playing lava (which I hadnt played since like.. early grade school) I'm pretty positive Ashleys cousin kid cheated. It was horrible. but fun.

Then the text I have known was coming, Caleb saying he was leaving.. I dont want these people to leave! It's so much worse than I thought it was going to be!

All I have to say is that you are lovely people and I hope that you all succeed in all that you do. Keep in touch and have loads of fun.

Until next time,

6 days before... kinda

I just realized that my day counting isn't exactly correct considering I went back to school today for Link Crew training and will go again tomorrow then on Tuesday to 'pep up' the Freshmen.

All I know is I really didn't think that Link Crew would require so much speech skill or so much memorizing. I think it will be fun though.

After Link Crew we went to the library then I took puppy monster to the vet.
Those who don't know who puppy monster is, shes a puppy, shes 4 months old, she ways 50 lbs., and is the size of a full grown Labrador Retriever. If I had a picture I would show you but sadly, I don't. But the funny thing is, that even though she's the size of an overgrown adult dog she is possibly the cutest puppy. Why? because imagine a puppy you know, slightly (or should I say very) klutzy, cute bark, does the 'I WANNA PLAY!' pose but doesn't quite know how to control her body and doesn't realize how big she actually is.

After that, I went to get a hair cut. I like it. But that isn't the 'interesting to blog about' part. My hair cutter was possibly the most amusing (actually second most amusing to the lady who cut it in London) hair stylist I've had. She was funny and super trendy and also a huge klutz like me :)
Just in the time it took to cut my hair she tripped, cut her finger, and burned herself on the hot iron. Also, unlike most stylists who just make small talk and are like 'aww you have such beautiful hair' she was completely real and was quite annoyed when she found out that the bottom of my hair ALWAYS either flips in or out so she had to straighten my hair over, and over, and over again and it still didn't work so while yelling that my hair sucks at life, she burnt herself on the hot iron. AND she's an aspiring vegetarian :) I am completely amused by her and will definately go to her again.

Well, tomorrow I need an introduction that I haven't worked on so looks like it's going to be the first late night of many.
Also, drive-in :) hopefully.

Until next time

7 days before: ZooVentures

Reliving your childhood is possibly the best feeling in the world. Especially when your childhood involved wild animals and trains.

So today was filled with zoo and hot but thats okay because on Tuesdays its half price admission day and since I'm still considered a kid at the zoo, admission was only $2... heck yes. I'm all for being called a kid when it makes things cheaper.

The zoo involved

Emus that definitely tried to attack us

Giant koi fish (That Zina was afraid of just for the record)

Zebuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus

Kissing goats

Cotton candy and Popcorn

Smelling of Mountain

and The Hogwarts Express

Thats right, The Hogwarts Express. I was sitting by this girl I dont know and I think she thought we were mentally challenged. We pretty much sang and talked about musicals the whole ride then got of the train and sang A Very Potter Musical and danced wildly.

After the zoo we went to the library where we had A LOT of fun making fun of Zinas hot pants. Even Robert joined in the fun and also this kid we met (more about him later). I also really enjoy having Roberts number now... big mistake on his part. But anyway at the library a guy walked in and me, Zina, and Ashton all agreed he was quite cute. After awhile of him staring at us and laughing at how loud and obnoxious we are, he moved to the table right by us. After a little longer of him laughing at Robert making fun of us and he talked to us. He was pretty entertaining except for the fact that he called me little even though I'm only a year younger than him. Long story short, me and Ashton gave him all of our numbers and then left the cafe and will probably never see him or hear from him again.

Also, my brother and his friends are dumb. When talking about 'That magical store Ben keeps talking about' as Wes calls it, This is what happened
Its called Disc Replay. - Kyra
Yeah, Disc Jockey - Ben
Disco World - Wes
Disco Stew? - Nick
Disco Inferno. - Wes

*Facepalm*

Well, this was a lot longer than I was planning... There was a lot to say I guess.

Until next time

8 days before

School is coming up fast, now I'm not too sure if I want to go back.

Blogger Yes and Yes posted a blog on Oh, Mishka's blog today. The post was 5 things to do before summer is over. Now, I definitely agreed with 2 of the 5 but the other 3 I'm changing to what I need to do.

1. Go to the Drive-In
The Drive-In was a must for me and my family when I was young but now, I never go. So this needs to happen in the next 8 days.

2. Go Camping
Whether you're in the woods or in your backyard, camping is always amazing. One of these next 8 nights is going to be spent in a tent with some friends. So, who wants to go camping?

3. Go to the Zoo!
Another thing I would do every summer (multiple times) was go to the Zoo! I went 2 years ago with my friends from down-state but I haven't been at all this summer! Must happen!

4. Run around outside from 8am-11pm without going inside unless you're forced to eat something.
When you're young, you run around all summer, Outside, barefoot. Your parents yelling at you to get inside, put shoes on, and eat. So you go inside, eat a sandwich and put some shoes on. 3 hours later your parents are calling again so you say bye to your friends, promising to do the exact same thing tomorrow, run to the door and realize that you left your shoes in your friends yard... oops :)
The point is that when I was little I had to be forced to be inside... Now.. its too hot outside to run around even though I would run around all day in this type of weather. Growing up sucks

5. Swim in a Lake.
I used to go swimming in that one lake (I forget what it's called) every summer... I haven't been there in forever so I really want to go even though I now realize how completely nasty it is.

Now, to go think about the good ol' days and call all my old neighborhood buddies.
Until next time

Dedicated to: Adam, Kenji, and Sam

I really don't feel like writing an actual blog today so I'm going to write about:
-Bacon
-Harry Potter
-How awesome Sam is

Topic 1: Bacon.
Bacon is really gross to me. Being a vegetarian has made me not like me at all. Even the smell of it is kinda nasty. Also you're eating little pigs! pigs are too cute to eat... at least baby ones are.. I guess the adult ones aren't cute.. But the adult ones make the baby ones!

Topic 2: Harry Potter
Harry Potter is amazing. Kenji, I really don't know what you want me to say about Harry Potter lol.. Umm I liked the 6th movie.. I hate Professor Umbridge with a passion... Uh James Potter and me are Birthday buddies.
You can specify what you want me to talk about another time

Topic 3: Sam
Sam..
is a girl
is going into Junior year
has an eyebrow piercing
is funny
has an 'I'm on a boat' T-shirt
is in Honors English 3
is a nerd like me :)
better be happy now.

Love you all
Until next time

Meet Leoni Marie
She is a baby, and she is adorable.
I got to see her today and shes so sweet.
When I went with Ashley and Sarah to see Aubree in the hospital we were joking that she is perfect.. she totally is.
Shes like super baby or something
I look forward to getting to know her better throughout her life.

So earlier I asked what I should blog about... The answers I got...
Bacon
transubstantiation and consubstantiation
and how amazing Sam is...

Everyone sucks at ideas, truly you do.

So instead of blogging about all of that I'm going to blog about something that I've had written down for a long time.

I don't remember where I saw this.. I think it was in an article in Dramatics Magazine. The article had something to do with a director and a brand new show. The actors had come to their first rehearsal and the first thing that the director said to them "Take off your pants". And so they did

It makes me wonder... what would happen if I was cast in a show and I were told to do that?
I think a lot of things would come about if our directors would have told us to take off our pants. I believe a lot of people would be very happy, some wouldn't really think anything of it, there would be a lot of terrified freshman, and i just wouldn't do it.

I wrote down a quote from the article when I read it that made me laugh..

---But it was a world in which everyone was willing to take orders like “take off your pants” and think absolutely nothing of it. Everyone was on the same page . . . and there was no such thing as too weird. All the pants were off.

Its right... Nothing would be too weird because you already did something so ridiculous that not much can compare to doing an entire rehearsal pantless. It makes me wonder what all the shows I've been apart of would've been like if we did something that ridiculous. I know for a fact that no one would have held back in the beginning like most people do.

Only problem is the fact that I think the directors would be in a lot of trouble since we are high schoolers and all.

Right now I'm watching So You Think You Can Dance.. yeah I'm a nerd, what ever.
It's the finale and I have no idea who I want to win... Not Brandon. Probably one of the girls.
I love Tyce Diorio. He makes me smile.

I can't wait for August 15th, Spring Awakening! I'm so excited. I kinda wish I could have gotten better tickets but they are soo expensive. I definitely am excited. Anyone else going?

Until next time

15 days before

School is looming in the distance and I'm one of the few who is excited for it to get here.

A couple days ago I was hanging out with some of the theatre kids at Peters house. It made me start thinking about the theater. I thought, 'Hey, wouldn't be awesome if the school actually fixed some of the things that were wrong with the theater and dressing rooms... then I thought... maybe they didn't.. maybe all that rain we had continued to flood the dressing rooms and it wasnt cleaned up at all the whole summer... I'm truely scared. Just the idea of walking downstairs and being able to smell that all-too-familiar smell of mildew and old makeup... All we need is to spend our first few meetings of Encore! mopping up nasty flood water.

When I was making this blog you choose your time zone so I'm looking for Central when I see Central-Winnipeg... for those of you who don't know, That's in Canada!! and now for those of you who are completely confused-(www.youtube.com/starkidpotter)

88 days til NaNoWriMo and I have no idea what I'm going to write about. I had an idea but BBC is going to flip if I actually do it... so that is completely lame. Suggestions?

Until next time
